About Me

I graduated from the paralegal program at Sonoma State University in 2000, and completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies in 2006.  I worked as a paralegal from 1999 through July 2017. This career was exciting in many ways, and I worked with some amazing people over the years, but the downfall is that I was in an office behind a desk with very little direct client contact.

I am now in my second career as a Notary Public and Certified Loan Signing Agent. I enjoy being a public servant, interacting with people, and taking a part in fighting identity theft. I say this because a notary’s main purpose is to properly verify a person’s identity prior to notarizing any documents.

I am also a signing agent certified by the National Notary Association and the Notary Learning Center.  For these assignments, I work with loan signing companies and title companies to ensure that your loan is closed properly.

In my spare time, I love to run, weight lift, knit, and play with my two cats, Buddy and Oliver. I am also a freelance writer and have published several short stories and articles.

I look forward to meeting your notarial needs.
